I. Routine Maintenance Schedule

1. Pre-Ride Check

  • Battery: Verify charge level; keep it above 20% to avoid deep discharge damage.

  • Tires: Check tire pressure (20–30 psi for paved roads; 8–15 psi for off-road/snow) and inspect the tread for debris.

  • Safety & Electronics: Test front and rear lights, horn, and ensure both brakes engage firmly.

2. Monthly (or Every 200 Miles)

  • Drivetrain: Clean and lubricate the chain (perform more frequently if riding off-road or in the rain); measure for chain stretch.

  • Braking System: Inspect brake pad wear (replace if friction material is <1 mm) and check rotors for grease or contamination.

  • Cockpit: Clean the LCD screen and throttle contacts; test that the throttle returns smoothly without sticking.
